Important Compliance Education Update

To help guide the UConn Health Center through the myriad of Federal, State and other regulations, the University’s Board of Trustees has directed us to take steps to ensure that all employees are familiar with the laws under which we must operate and how these standards translate into our day-to-day responsibilities.

The Board of Trustees requires that all employees complete annual compliance training. We must implement this board policy. I expect that all members of the Health Center community will complete compliance training by the December 31, 2011 deadline.

The Board of Trustees, President Herbst, and I have been receiving regular updates regarding compliance training completion. While we have made significant progress, many individuals still need to complete their training. With the deadline approaching, please ensure that you meet this requirement as soon as possible.
