New COO for UConn Medical Group

We are pleased to announce the arrival of Amanda Hopkins Tirrell, M.B.A., F.A.C.H.E., as the new Chief Operating Officer for the UConn Medical Group.

Ms. Hopkins Tirrell has more than 20 years of health care management experience. Most recently, she served as a Vice President at Baystate Health in Springfield, MA. She obtained her M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and is a Fellow of the American College of Health Care Executives. Ms. Hopkins Tirrell has a wealth of ambulatory services experience that she brings to our organization. We look forward to her contributions and ask everyone to give her a warm welcome.
