Celebrating National Nurses Week
Tonight, on the eve of National Nurses Week, 10 nurses representing clinical areas throughout the UConn Health Center and Correctional Managed Health Care will be honored during the annual Nightingale Gala.
At this time, I would like to express my gratitude to all of the nurses who provide outstanding patient care, unparalleled dedication and strong leadership every day.
To the UConn Health Center community: During National Nurses Week, please consider making a gift of any size to the Center for Nursing Excellence Fund to support professional development and bolster our efforts to recruit and retain one of the country’s best nursing staffs. For more information about making a gift, please call Sue Eselby at ext. 4593 or visit http://alumni.uchc.edu/support/closetohome.html.
To all of our nurses: For all of the ways your work touches and changes the lives of our patients and contributes to the overall success of the UConn Health Center, I extend my sincere gratitude and best wishes for a happy National Nurses Week!
