Messages from the Executive Vice President
September 14, 2012
The 2012 Connecticut State Employees’ Campaign for Charitable Giving (CSEC) has begun. This annual fundraiser has raised millions of dollars to benefit people locally, throughout the nation and around the world. Your gift makes vital services such as shelter for the homeless, protection of the environment, research for cures of diseases, and care for both children and seniors available to those in need. More than 700 non-profit charities benefit from the campaign. In 2011, the CSEC raised $1,500,934.
The 2012 kickoff for the Health Center will take place Wednesday, October 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Food Court. Select vendors will be on-site throughout the campaign and will contribute 20 percent of their sales to the CSEC.
I would like to thank Etta Henderson in Human Resources for agreeing to serve as the Health Center Campaign Coordinator. She will keep us all informed of progress and events promoting the Campaign. Each department’s contact person will work with Etta to distribute information and pledge cards.
The CSEC provides an opportunity for you to support a cause that improves the lives of many people. Please consider a gift to this year’s campaign.
