Messages from the Executive Vice President
October 31, 2012
I want to take a moment to thank all of you who worked tirelessly over the last several days to prepare for the storm and to ensure that our patients, students and staff were safe for its duration.
I am pleased to say things went smoothly for our clinical services, and that we were able to provide continuous care to patients during this difficult period.
I hope that you and your family weathered the effects of Hurricane Sandy without incident. Many of you in the Health Center community are still without power. I appreciate the extra efforts it will take for you to maintain balance at home and work in the next few days.
Again, thank you for your support, professionalism and commitment to the UConn Health Center.
Frank M. Torti, M.D., M.P.H.
Executive Vice President for Health Affairs
