The Connecticut General Assembly has established the UCONN 2000 matching program to promote the growth of the University's endowment and ensure the University's long-term financial strength.
UCONN 2000 matches gifts to both existing and new endowed funds on a 1:2 basis (one state dollar to every two private
dollars).
These gifts support the University as well as the UConn Health Center's priorities such as student scholarships, endowed chairs for distinguished faculty, research and academic program enhancements. |
