The Division of Gastroenterology in the Department of Medicine at the University of Connecticut Health Center and its affiliated hospitals provides a three-year ACGME accredited training program.   Its curriculum includes each of the ACGME competencies: patient care, medical knowledge, practice-based learning, communication skills, professionalism and system-based practice.  The goal of our program is to prepare board eligible internists for a career in clinical or academic gastroenterology.
