Our program has several unique features.  Because of multiple teaching sites, clinical training includes a diverse patient population and exposure to a wide range of diseases.  We are affiliated with a transplant center, an obesity center, a colon cancer prevention center and have staff dedicated to IBD, advance endoscopy techniques, viral hepatitis and motility.  We have research expertise in viral hepatitis, colon cancer cell signaling, colon cancer epidemiology and endoscopic technology advancements.  Our program truly offers both training opportunities, a sold clinical foundation with creditable research exposure.
