program director's welcome
Dear Pediatric Residency Applicant:
Thank you for your interest in the University of Connecticut Pediatric Residency Program. The primary goal of our three-year training program in pediatrics is to provide clinical and educational experiences that encourage the development of highly skilled, dedicated and compassionate physicians committed to the care of children.
The University of Connecticut Pediatric Residency Program has its home at the Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut, and incorporates faculty and resources from throughout our community. It is a program dedicated to education and growth of its residents, who have enjoyed a high level of success in both primary care pediatric practice and subspecialty fellowships. After you have had a chance to review our website, I hope you will apply to our program through ERAS and the NRMP for the coming residency match year.
Please contact me at ezalner@ccmckids.org , 1-860-545-9964 or our Program Coordinator, Aida Velez, at avelez@ccmckids.org, 1-860-545-9973, should you have any preliminary questions. I look forward to your application to our program.
Sincerely,
