Farmington, Conn. – David W. Schmidt, M.D., a specialist in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, has joined the Center for Advanced Reproductive Services at the University of Connecticut Health Center. As of August 2, Dr. Schmidt will see patients in the Center’s new Hamden office on 2080 Whitney Avenue.
Dr. Schmidt is a fully UConn trained expert. He is a graduate of the UConn School of Medicine, completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology and a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the UConn Health Center. He is a candidate for board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
“Dr. Schmidt has worked closely with us and distinguished himself as an accomplished and compassionate clinician, leader among his peers and dedicated academician,” said John Nulsen, M.D., the Center’s lead physician.
Dr. Schmidt is now an assistant clinical professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the UConn Health Center. His clinical interests include in vitro fertilization (IVF), ovulation induction, endoscopic surgery and research. Several of Dr. Schmidt’s research projects have been accepted for national publication or presentation.
