Dr. Pooja Luthra Joins UConn Health Center
Endocrinologist with Expertise in Diabetes Care
FARMINGTON, CONN. – Pooja Luthra, M.D., an endocrinologist
specializing in care for patients with diabetes, thyroid diseases,
osteoporosis and other endocrine problems is now seeing patients at the
University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington.
Dr. Luthra recently completed a fellowship in endocrinology and
metabolism at the UConn School of Medicine. She is a graduate of Maulana
Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India, where she also completed
post-graduate training in pediatrics. At the UConn School of Medicine,
Dr. Luthra also completed an internship and residency in internal
medicine before pursuing her fellowship.
Dr. Luthra was recognized with many academic accolades throughout her
training, including the Philip T. Goldenberg, M.D., Leadership Award
during her internal medicine residency.
