Simplify Your Life for Good Health
Topic of October 18th Discovery Series
FARMINGTON, CONN. – Do you have trouble finding files on the top of your desk? Does the backseat of your car look like a dumpster? Learn how a few simple lifestyle changes can help you
create calm out of chaos during the next Discovery Series program on Tuesday, October 18, at the University of Connecticut Health Center.
Professional organizer, life coach, columnist and author, Lisa Lelas, will offer tools to organize our lives, reduce our stress levels and become happier, more productive and ultimately
healthier people.
Lelas, who has appeared on Oprah Winfrey and NBC’s Today show, will explain the connection between stress and clutter and how organizing the space around you can uplift your spirits and
actually give you more energy. Based on Lelas’ bestselling self-help book, “Simple Steps…10 weeks to Getting Control of Your Life,” the focus will be on health, home and nurturing your spirit.
Books will be available for purchase/signing ($13).
The Discovery Series is free and will be held at 7 p.m. in the Health Center’s Keller Auditorium. Registration is required. Please call 800-535-6232 or 860-679-7692.
