Pediatrician Richelle deMayo Joins UConn Health Center

FARMINGTON, CONN. – Richelle deMayo, M.D., has joined the UConn Health Center and is now seeing pediatric patients in the East Hartford office of UConn Health Partners on 99 Ash Street.

Dr. deMayo earned her bachelor’s degree at Dartmouth College, Hanover, N.H., and her medical degree and master of surgery degree from McGill University in Montreal. She completed pediatric residencies at Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence, R.I., and at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Health Policy and Management at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health.

Dr. deMayo is board certified in pediatrics and twice received the National Research Service Award from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. Her special clinical interests include adolescent health, child behavior, development, and obesity.
