Free Programs About In Vitro
Fertilization This Summer at UConn Health Center
FARMINGTON, CONN. – Specialists with the Center for
Advanced Reproductive Services at the University of Connecticut
Health Center will lead informational sessions about current
treatments for infertility, specifically in vitro
fertilization (IVF), on June 28, July 5, July 19, Aug. 2, Aug. 16
and Aug. 30 at the Health Center. Each session will run from 6 to
8:30 p.m.
The free programs are part of a continuing series led by
reproductive endocrinology experts Claudio Benadiva, M.D., Lawrence
Engmann, M.D., John Nulsen, M.D., Donald Maier, M.D., or David
Schmidt, M.D. The physicians present an informational session,
typically once or twice each month, for couples who are interested
in learning more about IVF. For each program, the physician includes
an in-depth explanation of the IVF process and discusses some of the
emotional issues surrounding IVF. Options for financial planning are
also discussed.
For all sessions, registration is required. For more information,
directions and registration, please call 860-679-4580 or visit
www.fertilitycenter-uconn.org.
The Center for Advanced Reproductive Services offers many
