Prenatal Parenting

Becoming a new parent is exciting and challenging. Together we’ll learn what to expect – from welcoming your baby to first steps. Expecting moms and dads are invited to a supportive and educational group program on preparing for the transition from pregnancy to parenthood. This class does not replace hospital childbirth preparation classes.

Topics include: pregnancy and parenting adjustment, parent-child attachment, infant crying, infant feeding, infant sleeping, establishing routines, and postpartum planning/community resources. Parents receive free materials. Program is free.

This program meets eight times, Tuesday evenings from 5:30 to 7 p.m., February 5 through March 26, 2013.
