Support Groups
The UConn Health Center is committed to providing a place for individuals to share common concerns, emotional support, as well as to exchange information. The following support groups meet at the Health Center or other locations.

| Cardiac Support Group | |

| Living with Heart Disease: A free 7-week education-based support group series for patients, family members and caregivers. Topics will include coping with heart disease, exercise, nutrition, medication and meal planning. Registration is required, seating is limited to the first 15 people. | |

| Gynecological Cancer Support Group | |

The group is open to patients, family members and caregivers. It is designed to act as a forum for those affected by gynecological cancers: ovarian, endometrial, cervical, fallopian tube, or peritoneal cancer to share experiences and information but most importantly provide each other with a supportive community. This will be in collaboration with the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition a nationally recognized organization whose mission is to increase public awareness of gynecological cancers; to advance gynecological cancers research; and to provide educational and support services for the gynecological cancer community. Participants will be able to learn:
