Employees are the UConn Health Center's most important and valued resource. UConnPride is a council of employee volunteers working diligently to find ways to recognize and thank our employees for their hard work. The council was developed in 2001 and coordinates several different programs, including the “Pride in People” Program that recognizes individual and team contributions with WOW bars, PAWS and Team Awards.

Employee service to the organization is also recognized through a variety of other programs, including an employee recognition dinner held annually. Throughout the year, events are held to thank employees for their contribution to the overall success of the Health Center. Our biggest event is an annual barbeque held in the spring.

If you are interested in learning more about UConnPride, contact Ann Smith in Human Resources at 860-679-2523.
