Faculty and Staff Philanthropy Committee
On September 26, 2009, the University of Connecticut will
launch the largest capital campaign in its history. Our
University. Our Moment. The Campaign for UConn has a goal
of raising $600 million in private support for the University's
faculty, students and programs, which includes $155 million for
the UConn Health Center.
Generating support for the campaign from our own faculty and
staff is a priority for me and for the UConn Foundation, which
is coordinating and implementing the campaign. To that end, I am
asking any member of our faculty or staff interested in helping
to define and implement fundraising priorities for the Health
Center to join a new Faculty and Staff Philanthropy Committee
that I am establishing.
